The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Law "On Safety and Quality of Foodstuffs" (re the Citizens Notification about Genetically Modified Organisms in Foodstuffs)

The Law implements the demands regarding the marking of the foodstuffs containing GMO or are produced with their use.

The Law jurisdiction is not spread on tobacco goods and foodstuffs produced for the personal use.

Relevant Bill is registered under №4437.
